Iraq’s WMD Secreted in Syria, Sada Says BY IRA STOLL

Mr. Sada said, “Saddam realized, this time, the Americans are coming and he handed over the weapons of mass destruction to the Syrians.”
So what was it that convinced Saddam that Uncle Sam was serious and coming this time?

Here are a few things to consider. I'll try to get the full interview on the net asap

About Sada:
1. he refused to join the Baathis party because he was not Arab or Muslim--even though it limited his career. It was a point of integrity to him. Refusal to join got lots of folks killed!
2. he risked death by speaking openly to Saddam's face 17 times when it meant keeping Iraqi soldiers, civilians and even American pilots alive. Quasay had him imprisoned for not killing the 26 American pilots.
3. He opted to be removed from flying--which he loved and did since he was a kid-- rather than to joing the baathis party. He went home and farmed. He had enough money to buy his own farming equipment from Europe-- he ddn't lack for money
4. He considers himself to be soldier of Iraq and not of Saddam
5. In order to peddle this book--as some have said-- he has risked his life and the lives of ALL of his family. Terrorists are not confined to any one spot on the planet. he knows his family is a target cuz he is opting to speak.
6. His says he considers himself to be an ally of America and comes to us as a friend who wants to set the record straight and to buck us up so we can finish what we started in liberating Iraq-- He's doing this for his people.

See-- so if he can have the courage to risk everything to speak-- the least-- the very least we can do is LISTEN-- we don't have to agree or even believe-- but we should listen.

About WMDs:
he says that Saddam had commercial airplanes hollowed and ordered more than 55 flights filled with WMD materials into Syria. He also ordered a convoy of non-military 18 wheelers and even ambulances to carry more WMDs into Syria under the guise of rendering aid into a flooded area of Syria after the breaking of a dam. He says he has the account of the pilot who flew the sorties.

About Scott Spiecher:
General Sada was put in charge of the Gulf war POWs by Saddam. He was imprisoned for refusing an order from Saddam's son, Qusay to execute the 26 American pilots they captured. They were spared but he was imprisoned for refusing the order.
He states that his own personal investigation has proven that those who alleged having seen Lt Col Spiecher lied about the events for monetary gain. He proved that the papers they claimed to have been his were forged and that they were unable to say where the crash has actually occured. His investigation sadly proved that the plane was directly hit by a missle and the chances of survival were impossible.

The ownership of the WMDS:
Since Saddam is no longer and power and he brokered the deal with Syria to have them hold the WMDs indefinitely, there is a question of ownership of the WMDs. he has written to the President of Syria appealing to him to hand over the WMD's to the UN-- He says the new Iraqi government does not want the WMDs.

I have an interview scheduled with General Sada for Wednesday morning from 8-9am with 1440 KEYS AM Radio in Corpus Christi, TX. I'll ask him whther implicating syrria is a diplomatic landmine.

My own take is that Syrai has been in the mix from the beginning. The supposition was that Syria had accepted the WMDs. Now we have a confirmation.

I'll ask him is he actually saw the wmds loaded.

Further, I'll ask him if he supposes, as I do, that it wouldn't be a far reach in thinking that Syria may have given WMD's (whether those or others) to IRAN! Iran's sudden nuclear saber rattling does make things appear as though they are WMD capable-NOW-- not in the process of creating them.

I'll let you know what he says. I'm browsing the net looking for what Americans think on the whole General Sada thing.

Who is Georges Sada and why should we care?

The Sun goes into little detail to tell us who Sada is, or, more importantly, who he was. You might like to know a little more about Mr. Sada in order to establish his bonafides in your own minds.
