6 Grads Still Playing Tennessee Football.

When is a graduate not really a graduate? When you’re playing football.

I always thought when you graduated from college it was time to move on with your life. I guess in the world of college football it’s hard to get out of the incubator and into the real world.

At the University of Tennessee there are six graduates playing on the football team. I guess it’s pretty hard to give up the equivalent of college welfare to become a productive member of society. You would think some of these guys could get some obscene pay from the NFL or at least weasel their way onto a t.v. set and tell everyone on the field how they should be playing the game.

Now with red shirt freshmen and true freshmen and eleventh year seniors it’s no wonder college tuition is so high. Gotta pay for all that athletic welfare. Fifth year sophomores anyone?

With a college degree you would think they could actually get a real job and contribute in some meaningful way.

Looks like farm clubs for the NFL at taxpayer expense.
