Senator Landrieu Should be Removed from the Senate.

Posted by Taste of Liberty at 9:15 am. Filed under: General

Physically threatening the President of the United States is a crime. No senator who physically threatens the President should be allowed to remain in the Senate. A more appropriate place for Senator Landrieu would be the slammer.

In case you haven’t heard, Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu from Louisiana has threatened to physically punch President Bush if he dares to criticize the efforts or lack thereof exhibited by local and state authorities.

Advocating assassination and physical violence against the President seems to be the norm for leftist Democrats these days. And they keep getting away with it, offering empty apologies while encouraging others to carry out their dirty wishes.

It reminds me of the Roman Empire in its last days of decline.

It’s Bush’s Fault Democrats are Incompetent

Posted by Taste of Liberty at 8:32 am. Filed under: General

The Democrats are reeling over their incompetence in the wake of hurricane Katrina. You know that’s the case by the great rush on the part of the media and the Democrats to blame Bush for the slow response.

But the reality is the administration of the Democrat governor of Louisiana, Kathleen Blanco and her Lt. Governor, Mitch Landrieu, is grossly incompetent and unable to act in times of crisis.

And the Democrat Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, is furious. Nagin had nothing but good things to say about Bush (is there really an honest Democrat left in the party?) and his efforts after meeting with the President.

“I’m so happy that the president came down here,” Nagin said of Bush’s Friday visit to Louisiana in an interview with CNN. “He came down and saw it, and he put a general on the field. His name is General Honore. And when he hit the field, we started to see action.”

Nagin’s anger is with the governor for her delay and ineptness.

“What the state was doing, I don’t frigging know. But I tell you, I am p****d. It wasn’t adequate.”

All this just serves to reinforce the Democrats’ inability to protect us and respond effectively in times of crisis. They are great with tears on national television, but awful when it comes to real action to help people. I guess that’s why they have no solutions, just criticism. They really can’t be trusted.

Posted by Taste of Liberty at 7:51 am. Filed under: General

Here’s a reliable place to send money to help hurricane victims. This church is housing, feeding and medically treating 200 evacuees in Mississippi whose homes have been devastated. All of your money will be used to help. Their funds are running low and need your assistance. These people are trustworthy and will not misuse your money.

You can read about their efforts here.

Please make checks payable to Faith Presbyterian Church and designate it for disaster relief. The address is Faith Presbyterian Church, 400 Magee Dr., Brookhaven, MS 39601

And pray for them. It can be rough going down there to say the least.
