Tony Blair and John Howard Make a Point
Blair had a great quote just now regarding today’s London bombings.
The people responsible for doing these things, are the people that do them.
Sounds obvious, but to many, it’s apparently not.
And this from the Australian PM John Howard:
Once a country allows its foreign policy to be determined by terrorism it’s given the game away.
And he goes on to debunk the argument that “this is England’s fault for being in Iraq.”
And another great soundbite:
By definition, you can’t put yourself in the mind of a successful suicide bomber.
(I heard it on the radio, so no online source offhand. I’ll link to a source when I find one later as transcripts are posted).
