Not So Fast on Roberts.
Roberts is being portrayed as a slam dunk for confirmation to the Supreme Court by many, including some so-called mainstream news outlets. Whether this is a deliberate effort to lull the Republicans to sleep is yet to be seen.
The Democrats in the Senate, the party now controlled by the radical left, will be doing everything they can to continue their program of obstruction. It doesn’t matter whether it is court nominees, personnel appointments, national security, or domestic legislation, the Democrats are trying to delay anything Bush and, consequently the Republicans, are trying to accomplish for this country.
The Democrats anxiously watch the calendar. 2006 is fast approaching and the Democrats hope they can fix enough elections to get some seats back. Then, just two more years until 2008 and Bush is gone.
The Republicans foolishly play along, letting the time go on, allowing themselves to be drawn into this game of delay. And there are some Republicans who like the Democrat strategy and do what they can to aid the obstruction.
So don’t be surprised if the Democrats and their propaganda arm, the so-called mainstream media, don’t start fabricating things about Mr. Roberts, forcing the attention down lots of rabbit trails, all for the purpose of obstructing the process and tying up the energy of those of you rejoicing in the brilliance of Bush’s selection.
Remember the Democrats have become the party whose policies and actions support the terrorists. Similar behavior is to be expected. Don’t be surprised.
