I just wanted to point out that the free blog host that I use, Blogsome, has been really great. In the past, they had their share of outages and growing pains, but it has been quite stable now for a while.
They provide the full WordPress suite of tools, all for free.
If you’re looking for a painless blog host that does much more than blogger (including categories, which I don’t really use, but many people really like), check out Blogsome.com.
