Was it Karl Rove?

Posted by Eric at 12:15 pm. Filed under: General

Speculation is spreading like wildfire that Karl Rove was Matt Cooper’s source on Valerie Plame. I’ve not thought enough about this to have much an informed opinion of the ramifications of this if true, and there’s not much point in speculating until the facts are known, so I’ll just post the link. MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell:

I revealed in yesterday’s taping of the McLaughlin Group that Time magazine’s e-mails will reveal that Karl Rove was Matt Cooper’s source.

Blogburst: Rootforce, Anonymoses, Balloon Juice, Talk Left, and lots of others, but I’ve gotta run. Enjoy.

UPDATE: The Rove Factor.

UPDATE 2: More analysis rolling in. Most of it pretty “ho hum” about the whole Rove thing. Wizbang. CQ. Polipundit. Michelle Malkin. Mike’s Noise. Mark in Mexico (great roundup!).
