Dean Mocks Limbaugh

Posted by Eric at 6:57 am. Filed under: General

Dean defends his mocking of Rush Limbaugh on NBC:

“Democrats have strong moral values. Frankly, my moral values are offended by some of the things I hear on programs like “Rush Limbaugh,’ and we don’t have to put up with that.”

Don’ t have to put up with what? Being offended by someone speaking freely? I’m not quite following his point other than that he is broadcasting an incredible degree of intolerance for those with whom he disagrees.

One might even go so far as to conclude that mocking Rush’s drug addiction (by a former physician, no less), is hateful. //gasp!

And once again, I stand slack jawed that this guy is the leader of the DNC. The spokesperson for all the democrat leadership is and stands for. Nutty. It’s time for the average Joe democrats, the hard working flyover country blue collar union guys, to stand up for what they really believe and let their party know what they think of this irresponsible leadership.

  1. Rush was using over 100 pills / day of oxycontin, lying to his doctors to obtain this. His deafness that he tried to obtain sympathy for was likely due to this addiction. Noelle Bush was caught in a similar scheme. Dean was saying that there is an epidemic of hypocritical high-profile conservatives abusing the medical system to get their drugs, which are just as bad or worse than illegal drugs (They are monitored by the DEA like illegal drugs) that they throw people in prison for, while they themselves are drug addicts. This has nothing to do with medical ethics to be against drug abuse. These drugs should be restricted!
