Dissect the Dog, before PETA Gets to it.

Posted by Eric at 6:22 pm. Filed under: General

Educational? Or outrageous?

Bjerregaard made arrangements for his students to be a part of a dissection of a dog that was still alive.

The dog was still alive, but the teacher said it was sedated before the dissection began.

With the students watching, the sedated dog’s digestive system was removed.

The dog used in the experiment was going to be euthanized despite the class project.

  1. This is the sickest thing anyone could ever do. How can you be able to support a teacher that would be sick enough to dissect a living dog in front of a class. How can the principle at this school be able to support such a vile act against an animal. This is inhumane. This guy should go to jail for dissecting a dog. I own a dog and i love him and if this happened to him i would sue him and then i would sue the principle for allowing such a violent act to take place.

  2. animals are of lower class than we are, we can do whatever we want with them, if a species starts to go extinct fine, lets just clone it

  5. That is a completely sick thing to do. I hope the teacher and the principal both get sued for letting something disgusting like that happen. Just because other animals are of slighter less intelligence than us, gives us no right to dissect a LIVING DOG! This is completely sick, inhumane, and unnecessary and they should be sued!

  6. That’s the sickest thing i’ve ever heard. I don’t think i’d stop at sueing the teacher-who clearly needs psychiatric help if they think that it’s o.k to do that to someone! Animal abuse/mutilation is the early behaviour of a serial-killer. People like that are what’s wrong with this world, they don’t deserve to exist. They just cause pain and suffering. They need to be stopped.

  7. I THINK THAT THE TEACHER HAS SOME SERIOUS DEEP ROUTED PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS. HOW OLD WERE THE POOR KIDS WHO HAD TO WATCH THIS! THE TEACHER NEEDS TO LOOSE HER TEACHING LISCENCE AT A MINIMUM.

  8. ur a loser!! we dnt have the right to do what we want to any creature!!

  9. Also it doesn’t matter if you think an animal is “less intelligent” than you, it doesn’t give you the right to do that to them. All animals can suffer and feel pain and that’s enough of a reason not to do things like this! You can learn about biology from models and computer programmes-there’s no need to cut up living things!! I’ve never dissected and got an A* for biology (highest in the class), which just goes to show you can learn without killing!!! I have no respect for people who don’t respect life. I hope dissection is banned.

  10. Wow. That’s all I can say. I can’t believe that people are still sick enough to think that that’s okay. Well it’s not! It is not okay to cut open an animal, regardless of whether it’s dead or still alive and sedated, for your own scientific purposes. There are plenty of alternatives to animal disection, and people need to utilize them before another animal is cut open for the sake of science.

  12. That is sick and wrong. Animals are not ours to do whatever we want with them. They exist for their own purposes just like humans. We have no right to bring harm to them; they have a right to live free of the pain and suffering we give them. We shouldn’t treat them like objects, whether they be dead or alive. Biology is the study of life, not death. Animals are our equals, and whether you know that or not, you cannot shatter the fact that in suffering they are our equals.

  14. how could someone do that to a dog? not just a dog but any animal-the dog was alive! that man must not have a heart at all and should be thrown in jail for animal cruelty..the dog never did anything to him. if i was there i wouldve started balling and i wouldve yelled at him to……. what has the world come to
