Guilty of Throwing Foam Football?

Posted by Eric at 6:57 pm. Filed under: General

Am I reading this right?

Cruz pleaded guilty to taking part in the rolling and crawling incident and to throwing a foam football at the three naked prisoners. He has served his eight-month sentence and is now out of the Army.

Dissect the Dog, before PETA Gets to it.

Educational? Or outrageous?

Bjerregaard made arrangements for his students to be a part of a dissection of a dog that was still alive.

The dog was still alive, but the teacher said it was sedated before the dissection began.

With the students watching, the sedated dog’s digestive system was removed.

The dog used in the experiment was going to be euthanized despite the class project.

Jane Fonda on Christianity and the Bible.

Posted by Eric at 6:18 pm. Filed under: General

Interesting quotes from Jane Fonda:

I don’t want to offend anyone. But I believe people have different ways of approaching The Word. For me, it’s metaphor, written by people a long time after Christ died. And interpreted by specific groups. I read the gospels that aren’t included in the Bible. These make me feel good about calling myself a Christian.

Do Not Arrest Illegals!

Posted by Eric at 7:11 am. Filed under: General

Truly Amazing

U.S. Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers, The Washington Times has learned.

More than a dozen agents, all of whom asked not to be identified for fear of retribution, said orders relayed by Border Patrol supervisors at the Naco, Ariz., station made it clear that arrests were “not to go up” along the 23-mile section of border that the volunteers monitored to protest illegal immigration.

And a here’s a great quote on the subject by Rep. Tom Tancredo a Colorado Republican.

“It’s like telling a cop to stand by and watch burglars loot a store but don’t arrest any of them,” he said. “This is another example of decisions being made at the highest levels of the Border Patrol that are hurting morale and helping to rot the agency from within.

“I worry about our efforts in Congress to increase the number of agents,” he said. “Based on these kinds of orders, we could spend the equivalent of the national debt and never have secure borders.”

Alec Rawls thinks the supervisors should be fired.

Fire ‘em NOW, like Ronald Reagan stomping the air traffic controllers. They are a hundred times worse.

And then he goes a step further:

These supervisors don’t just need to be fired. They need to be PROSECUTED! They are obstructing enforcement of the law, a clear violation of statutes in every state and the Union that all government officers must UPHOLD THE LAWS.

Speed of Thought is angry. Lee wonders if the military should take over.

Many people have called for the military to begin patrolling our southern border. The effectiveness of the Minuteman Project demonstrates that keeping out illegals is a relatively simple thing to do, and that the only reason our government has failed to do so is pure politics. Remember this the next time you vote.

Rusty is sickened, but not surprised.

Bob is a fan of open borders, but not this kind.

For many years, I have been in favor of Open Borders. However, opening borders and pouring out taxpayer money to support people who should be coming over here seeking opportunity, not a government hand out will ultimately destroy our country, far worse than any terrorist attack.

And Rich Glasgow has a bit of a conspiracy theory.
