Senator Harry Reid, Democrat from Nevada is all worked up over Tom DeLay, but DeLay is child’s play compared to these three Democrats.

First up in the corruption ring, Senator Hillary Clinton, Democrat…

The finance director for Hillary Clinton’s 2000 U.S. Senate campaign was indicted today on federal charges of filing bogus financial reports with the Federal Election Commission.
Investigators allege that a “wealthy individual” paid more than $1.1 million to underwrite the Clinton gala and that those payments were delivered through “several corporate entities controlled by him.” The August 2000 fundraiser was billed as a “Hollywood Tribute to William Jefferson Clinton,” though the funds raised went to his wife’s campaign kitty.

Up second in the corruption ring, Senator Charles Schumer, Democrat…

The FEC ruling, handed down in March, ordered Schumer’s 1998 senatorial campaign to pay a civil penalty of $130,000. The campaign was also ordered to return $120,455 in illegal contributions, bringing the total of fines and restitution to slightly more than a quarter-million dollars. The campaign paid the sum in April.
According to FEC records, only three cases involving federal candidates have resulted in higher fines than the one levied on Schumer’s campaign. No senatorial candidate has ever been so severely penalized.

Looks like New York almost has a monopoly on corruption.

Up third in the corruption ring is Nancy Pelosi, Minority Leader, U.S. House, Democrat…

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helped secure $3 million last year for a nonprofit transportation-research organization whose president gave money to her political action committee as the group was paying for a European trip for one of her policy advisers.

Transportation adviser Lara Levison’s nine-day, $4,475 trip to Spain and Germany last April to learn about hydrogen-fuel cells for buses was primarily paid for by WestStart-CALSTART.

But just days before the trip, WestStart-CALSTART announced that Mrs. Pelosi had helped the nonprofit group secure $1 million from the Federal Transit Administration for a bus rapid-transit program. A month after the Levison trip, the group sent out a press release thanking her for a $2 million grant for a fuel-cell program.

There’s a lot more to the Pelosi corruption at MyopicZeal who was on this early. The media sure has had plenty of time to cover Pelosi’s clear acts of corruption so why are they ignoring it? Well let’s see…

Guess who steps into the corruption ring next? Yup the New York Times…

The Chicago Sun-Times’ Robert Novak reports:

On March 24, former Congressman Bob Livingston was sent an e-mail by a New York Times editorial page staffer suggesting he write an op-ed essay.

In a subsequent conversation, it was made clear the Times wanted the prominent Republican to say DeLay should step aside for the good of the party.

Livingston in effect declined by responding that if he wrote anything for the Times, it would be pro-DeLay. But this remarkable case of that august newspaper fishing for an op-ed piece makes it appear part of a calculated campaign to bring down the single most powerful Republican in Congress.

According to Terrell, Harshaw’s e-mail suggested Livingston might want to write ‘’a short op-ed on DeLay’s political future.'’ Terrell said he telephoned Harshaw, saying his boss would ‘’write a favorable piece,'’ then asked: ‘’Is that really what you’re seeking or is that what you would print?'’

It clearly was not. While Harshaw asserted ‘’we would welcome any thoughts'’ by Livingston, Terrell quoted him as saying ‘’we are seeking those who would go on the record or state for the good of the party he (DeLay) should step aside.'’

The N.Y. Times is trying to find someone, anyone, who is a Republican to write a piece against Tom DeLay. And if that person writes something favorable to DeLay they will not print it. Amazing. I can understand why some folks are calling it the N.Y. Slimes.

Once again hypocrisy and corruption run rampant in the Democrat Party and the leftist media. What’s the saying? Strain out the gnat while swallowing the camel? It’s getting ridiculous with these leftists. No wonder they love Saddam, Fidel, Kofi, and Osama so much. Corruption is their middle name.

With consistent hypocrisy, the Democrats accuse others while at the same time do the same thing and worse. And the media comes out of the closet once again as they try to ‘Rather’ Tom DeLay while conveniently ignoring corruption of a worse kind sitting at their table.

Then we look at the loudest mouth in the corruption ring… well wouldn’t you know, Senator Harry Reid.

Rush Limbaugh reports Reid wrote legislation that directly benefited his family. Gee… wouldn’t you like to have a deal like that?

And the beat goes on… lies, deceit, fraud and corruption. The Democrats have absolutely nothing to offer. All they can do is try and destroy people, obstruct, and prevaricate. But then deceit has always been the core of the radical left. Even Gorbachev admitted their ideology was built on a lie.

An excerpt from the LA Times:

The Howard Hughes Corp. alone paid $300,000 to the tiny Washington consulting firm of son-in-law Steven Barringer to push a provision allowing the company to acquire 998 acres of federal land ripe for development in the exploding Las Vegas metropolitan area.

Barringer is listed in federal lobbyist reports as one of Hughes’ representatives on the measure that his father-in-law introduced.

Oh the hypocrisy. Maybe it’s time to make these corrupt Democrats even more of a minority.
