Terri Schiavo Update
The petition filed last week by the Department of Children & Families said it received the new allegations, which filled 34 pages, through its anonymous abuse hot line last month. DCF is seeking a 60-day stay blocking the removal of the 41-year-old woman’s feeding tube, now scheduled for March 18.
Remember:
Her parents say she responds to them, laughs and tries to talk. They dispute doctors who say she has no consciousness and believe she could get better with therapy.
