James City County Police arrested an eight-year-old boy who allegedly had a violent outburst in school.

Major Stan Stout says the student began tossing chairs and turning over desks after a teacher - and later the assistant principal - tried to stop him from joining his classmates.
The teacher and the assistant principal were not able to subdue an 8 year old boy? Or I wonder if they were not allowed to. I’m not a big guy, and there are not a lot of 8 year olds that I would not be able to subdue… something is amiss here that the police had to be brought in.
Regardless, hopefully the boy will learn his lesson. He was later “released to his parents.”
