Where is Drudge?
Power Line has some thoughts on the Eason Jordan story and the MSM.
One has to wonder, where is Drudge on this? I’m sure he’s in the loop on what is going on in the blogosphere, but I’ve not seen him do any linking or headlining of Jordan’s quotes. I wonder why.

Drudge actually spent half of his radio broadcast this week defending the NY Times’ blogger-bashing in light of the Jordan resignation. This is the first I’ve known of him ever coming to the defense of any blogger; he has seemed in the past to harbor a disdain for them because people (incorrectly, IMHO) dismiss him as one. I’ve discussed this in detail in an essay on the 2/14 entry at www.drudgeblog.com — I seriously doubt he knows what’s going on in the blogosphere, per se. He spends most of his day monitoring the traditional news media and probably only reads blogs from favorite writers or people who have become news.
